Wanda which would be excellent.
I've never seen it, but it's a title that has been popping up left and right for me lately, so that would be great news.

Karina Longworth's podcast on Barbara Loden in Dead Blondes series was excellent.

I'd much rather it be for Splendor in the Grass, but then we wouldn't get a wonderful interview with Ethan Hawke about how wonderfully trailblazing Wanda was in being the one of the first piece of shit minimalist quirky crime-related indie road movies.

You've upset me deeply today by reminding me that man AND his automaton fans exist.

Miller’s Angela and The Ballad of Jack and Rose are IFC titles, so maybe Criterion picked up one of those?

Re: Miller... Given their Baumbach affinity, they might be putting out a special edition of THE MEYERWITZ STORIES.
Could all just be Filmstruckery though.

Me and my friend have joked that Rebecca Miller's Angela should be released by Criterion since it's an IFC title. It was filmed in our hometown and my friend is a feature extra in it, but it's been seen by very few people.

Midnight Cowboy has been rumored for how long now? Another one to take off the legacy list of releases that never materialized

I thought the Rouben Mamoulian page would eventually be for the 1932 Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde but WAC will re-release it on DVD MOD. So not sure what the Mamoulian will be for.

I’m going to hope it’s for a 4K restoration of Love Me Tonight, but if it is Song of Songs, are we looking at a big Dietrich at Paramount box set? I figured we’d just get her films with Sternberg.

Any of Mamoulian’s first four films would be great, though I’m personally going to root for the underrated City Streets—one of my favorite films from the period.
I haven’t seen The Song of Songs, but a Dietrich at Paramount box also sounds quite nice.
