Where's My Arrow Order?

My order that was shipped on 1/2 finally arrived yesterday.

I am also in Chicago; one of two orders from 1/2 arrived today. I am still waiting for the other one. My order from Jan. 4th arrived yesterday. It was probably the
most severely damaged box I have ever received, crushed to about half of its original size. Miraculously, the items themselves were OK, wedged in a pocket of the
package that was relatively unscathed.

Anyone had shipping confirmation on the Godard /Gorin box?

Has anyone been experiencing delays with the new shipping service? I had no problems with the old site but I just had an order that took two months to arrive and another couple that seem like they might take just as long. I want to buy from Arrow directly but the erratic wait times are a pain.

The Godard Gorin box came promptly though, shipped February 15 and arrived March 1.

I think I read that Arrow may have dropped that new shipping service. (My only recent order was after Christmas during the last sale and I decided to pay extra, which ended up taking about a week. Otherwise I could still be waiting...) And things do seem to be arriving pretty quickly again now...

So how many months does a package have to be missing for Arrow to either replace it or give you your money back? I've already emailed them twice that the order I placed on April 5 hasn't arrived yet. First time I heard that it had to be six weeks (I also asked why I didn't receive any delivery confirmation number from them if it had in fact shipped already which it supposedly had) & after 2nd time asking (well after 6 weeks) I've received no reply from customer service. I also never received any response as to why I didn't receive any points for my order. Have they stopped the points program? Given the size of my order, I would have expected at least something by now. Should I just complain to my credit card company & order everything again through Amazon? Is Arrow usually this negligent?

Email them once more, explain the circumstances, explain that you're about to complain to the CC, and mention that you post here and will be commenting publicly on how they treat your request. I suspect you will get a response

Aside from not packing my order very well last time, which I think was some kind of oversight fluke for just my order (why me?), or at least I hope it was, it otherwise seems quite well worth it to pay the extra for tracked shipping, which I recall added just £1 to the total shipping price (my order being not all that dissimilar in content type to Lowry_Sam's, a couple box sets, about half a dozen other titles). Once your tracked order ships it arrives in a couple days and the waiting is over and done with. Sure beats two months.

Points are dispensed when orders ship, but you now get 0 points for any discounted items, which I believe that entire order fits under.

Well I finally found out that it was sent (a while ago) via Fed Ex & Fed Ex just sat on it & sent it back (because they refuse to deliver to a PO Box) & now no one can find it. Why do people use Fed Ex? They are the worst. Almost every shipment I've had with them ends up lost or damaged or takes 3x as long as it's supposed to.

Yes, I actually received 4 separate packages (2 orders) via FedEx Overnight (!!!) by using the cheapest shipping.

An aside:
In fact, I actually got 5 packages, but the 5th one was a duplicate in the order of a few hundred dollars (!!!!!). I missed it at the door and contacted Arrow customer service who had NO IDEA they’d sent the package twice, and told me they’d try to recall it. It sat at an access point for a while and then became an exception that now says “pending”, so who knows if they’ll ever get it back. Anyway, I’d rather extra packages than none at all...

Usually they send things a few weeks early so I’m wondering what’s up. I’m in Canada so it usually takes a bit longer, but even so I’m curious when/if backers have received this title yet.

I’m one of the Indiegogo backers, also happen to be in Canada and I did receive my copy of Cruising about a week ago, on August 6th.
