Going to order from Second Run's store on the Arrow site directly when I've got a regular income again. Very excited for this release.

"I found it an infectious, anything-goes middle finger to the establishment and the expectations put on women in particular... it’s a playful riot of cinema that doesn’t let you get bored for a second whilst it tears polite society a new one."

I rather liked the old cover art, but will be double-dipping nonetheless.

"A riotous, colorful fireball of cinematic provocation... an outrageous cinematic collage so far ahead of its time most viewers are still left astonished by the end ...[The Blu-ray] edition is indeed a welcome treat featuring a new restoration"

"Second Run have a really beautiful package here. The two commentaries compliment each other very nicely, and the documentary is very intimate and revealing. Hames' essay is insightful. As for the film, the transfer greatly improves on the previous SD release without too much tinkering. This Blu-ray is a must have for fans of the film, a thing of such strangely whimsical nihilism."

Wonderful to see our DAISIES ranked at #7 in DVD Beaver's 'Best Blu-rays of 2018' poll and in Cine Outsider's choice of 'Best Blu-rays of 2018' - and also included INVENTION FOR DESTRUCTION among his choices.

Anyone have the blu-ray of this? I picked it up and was watching through it and saw some appalling macroblocking / pixelation in the dark areas of darker scenes. As if a YouTube video was ripped and poorly encoded on a disc. None of the other few reviewers who have reviewed this have brought it up though so I’m not sure if I’m just seeing things or if I have a bad disc or what.

I watched my copy a few weeks ago and thought it looked incredible, though the picture quality was horrible on the previous dvd I watched years ago so perhaps it’s a matter of the quality of materials and I just can’t see it?
